Gregory Robert Bodine, earned a B.A. from UCLA and a M.Div. from Western Seminary. Following his formal education, Mr. Bodine began vocational life in personnel consulting at a leading agency in Los Angeles, and has continued to provide individual coaching since that time. He then entered the investment and wealth management world at Prudential as a Marketing Administrator for forty corporate and labor union clients with $500 million in pension fund assets under management. During this time in the institutional asset management subsidiary of the company, he initiated an efficiency study and developed a million-dollar annual cost-saving proposal, which brought a commendation from the company president.
Greg became an entrepreneur in his late 20’s and provided innovative advertising and marketing consulting services in the Los Angeles area to a hundred businesses and professional practices, as well as two shopping centers. He sold that business and, following in a family tradition of service in The Salvation Army that goes back nearly 120 years with roots in Norway and Sweden, he took a development position with the organization. During his twenty-six year tenure there he raised over $100 million in planned gifts and outright gifts, served as staff trainer, occasional conference speaker, and president of the professional state association. He also founded an annual state conference that has continued for over twenty-five years.
Having built many enduring relationships during his thirty-five years in philanthropy and business, Mr. Bodine has brought together a network of trusted advisors as colleagues that work together collaboratively to enrich and augment superior, effective and pleasing outcomes for our clients.
